My name is Steve Seltzer, and I'm president and founder of Avatar Wine Marketing.
My background in wine goes back to working in restaurants since 1980. I was a waiter, a captain and finally a sommelier at the well-known Rainbow Room restaurant in New York and the Tavern on the Green in the heart of Central Park.
After 16 years in restaurants, I worked on the wholesale wine side for a major distributor as sales manager in charge of New York restaurants and 5 years later I started Avatar.
I am always available to my clients. I offer my own time to work in the various markets, introducing new wines to managers and sales staff, and conducting sales calls with the managers and sales reps.
